Supporting Marie Curie Cancer Care

I'm immensely proud of the Shuffletunes singers. Today, out in the freezing cold, in front of strangers and friends, the choirs combined to sing to raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care UK.

Marie Curie Cancer Care support people who have terminal cancer and their families and friends. They are the truly heroic; selflessly putting themselves in emotionally traumatic situations to help people that are already there. The choir agreed that we should support them by raising money by singing Christmas carols and songs in Camberley.

The thing is, the quality of singing was superb. And it was a really testing situation to sing in. But the choir showed determination, resilience, focus and sensitivity. They showed good humour, positivity, dynamism and teamwork of the highest standard.

I am unbelievably happy that Shuffletunes can support charities in this way and I hope that we can continue for a long time to come. Check out our gallery for images of the day.
